DISSE is an International Humanitarian Association registered under the law of July 1, 1901. The fundamental principle of the DISSE association is based on humanitarian aid, placing people at the heart of the action. It goes without saying that DISSE's members not only provide aid wherever it is needed, but also anticipate problems and root causes by relying on existing socio-cultural structures, in which the affected populations participate.
Its objectives are: To combat poverty and destitution by encouraging actions related to personal development. To promote health by donating medicines for basic healthcare, helping those in need access basic healthcare, and promoting the dissemination of information about hygiene.
To promote equality based on race, gender, and rights. To provide training and combat illiteracy by helping young people gain experience that will enable them to pursue professional or personal goals directly related to their socioeconomic environment.
The DISSE association aims to help young people find a foothold in their region or country, instead of swelling the slums of large cities or attempting the perilous adventure of immigration to Europe or the United States.
Environmental preservation by raising awareness, both in urban and rural areas, about energy conservation, waste sorting, and rural issues such as deforestation and slash-and-burn agriculture. To achieve its goals, the DISSE association transcends political and religious considerations by integrating regional specificities into its programs. Regardless of the economic structure and environment, the DISSE team is committed to giving meaning to current aid. To achieve its objectives on the ground, DISSE relies on both participation and goodwill around the world, relying on a dedicated team.
