The creation of water points is a fundamental need for millions of men and women. Yet, access to a nearby and safe source of drinking water is still a daily struggle in many parts of the world.
Aware of this challenge, DISSE is taking concrete action to make progress. Indeed, in isolated rural areas or those in humanitarian crises, the lack of clean water has dramatic consequences : waterborne diseases, malnutrition, interrupted schooling, and long and arduous water collection chores, particularly for girls and women.
This is why DISSE is actively involved in the creation of sustainable water points adapted to the needs of beneficiaries. We install wells, drill deep wells, build water towers, and rehabilitate existing infrastructure to ensure sustainable access to this vital resource.
Furthermore, each project is preceded by meticulous field studies. We measure water quality and determine the most appropriate technical solutions. After creating the water points, we support communities in their maintenance, teach them how to manage them, and establish management committees to ensure their sustainability.
Thanks to this approach, the creation of water points profoundly transforms the lives of residents: it reduces disease and promotes access to agricultural activities. Every drop of water thus becomes a source of health, dignity, and… Today, you can be part of this change.
